Osinbajo, Governors vow not to let Nigeria break Despite agitations being witnessed in parts of the country


The Acting president of Nigeria, Yemi Osinbajo and the 36 state governors have vowed to keep Nigeria always united despite the agitations being expressed in different parts of the country. They made the pledge at a meeting in Aso Rock in Abuja yesterday the  21st of June. The acting president, Yemi Osinbajo, who spoke to the state house correspondents after the meeting said;

shocking: Abia State governor sacks all his commissioners, including top officials

The Governor of Ania state, Governor Okezie Ikpeazu has dismissed the state executive council, including commissioners, special advisers as well as senior special assistants.
The Permanent Secretary, Government House, Mr. Onyii Wamah, announced the dissolution in a statement posted on the government’s website
on Friday night.

Former president Olusegun Obasanjo, on Tuesday, stated that elected or appointed government officials must be prepared before they get to office.

Obasanjo, who spoke in Abuja, declared that governance is not what anyone can learn when already in position.OBJ, as fondly called, said people must have plan and ideas before seeking and taking leadership responsibilities.

IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu denies rejecting his bail condition, says he will meet them within 48 hours


Leader of the Indeginous People of Biafra IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, has denied reports that he has rejected his bail condition. A Federal High Court in Abuja yesterday granted Kanu bail. As part of his bail conditions, Kanu is expected to provide three sureties with N100 million each.
