Man is found not guilty of raping his pregnant girlfriend while she was in labour

A man who was accused by his girlfriend of raping her while she was heavily pregnant and in labour, has been found not guilty of the rape charge on Friday, after a half an hour deliberation, following a five-day trial at Hull Crown Court.
The man allegedly attacked his partner while she was naked, on her hands and knees trying to relieve the pain of her contractions after going into labour at home in Hull, East Yorkshire.

A Daycare worker, Afsana Shaikh, was caught on CCTV slapping and kicking a baby so hard that the infant suffered a fractured skull and internal bleeding.
Shaikh was captured beating nine-month-old Ritisha Sinha during nap time at the day care centre in western India.
The horrifying attack took place on the infant's first day at the nursery, in the city of Kharghar, in Maharashtra State.

Anti-terrorism court in Lahore, Pakistan on Wednesday, November 23, awarded death sentences to a Muslim cleric and four others for burning alive a Christian man and his pregnant wife two years ago.

Judge Chaudhry Muhammad Azam also imposed a fine of 200,000 rupees on each convicted for lynching the couple. Eight other suspects were sentenced to two years in prison, the Press Trust of India reported.
On November 4, 2014 Shahbaz Maseeh, 26, and his wife Shama Bibi, 24, were accused of setting fire to several verses of the Koran and attacked by colleagues at a brick factory where they worked at Kot Radha Kishan area of Kasur district, 64 kilometers southwest of Punjab’s Lahore city. The couple were planning to flee with their children when the mob caught them.

Romance Scam: Two Nigerian men arrested in Thailand for swindling women seeking foreign husbands

Police on Thursday, November 24th, arrested two Nigerians and three Thai women for allegedly swindling women seeking foreign husbands out of 50 million baht through an internet romance scam.

According to Provincial Police Region 4 chief Pol Maj Gen Jatupon Parnraksa, the two Nigerian men identified as Okwutor Peter, 29, and Jeremiah Ndidi, 27 and their three Thai accomplices were arrested at a Bangkok condominium where police seized 20 bank books and ATMs with transactions totalling more than 50 million baht.

Liberian man arrested in Italy for kidnapping and raping 26-year-old Nigerian woman

Police in Rome on Monday said they have arrested a 36-year-old Liberian man in the kidnapping and rape of a 26-year-old Nigerian woman last Saturday night, November 19th.

According to leading Italian news agency, ANSA news online, the woman, a newcomer to Rome, was unsure how to get home and heeded the man’s offer to accompany her on a bus.


She told police the man took her to the unfamiliar outlying neighborhood of San Basilio. Once off the bus, he covered her mouth and dragged her to a derelict building frequented by the homeless where he bound, gagged and raped her.

 Pope Francis, who is the 266th and current Pope of the Roman Catholic Church, has granted all priests the power to forgive abortion, a right previously reserved for bishops in most parts of the world. He said:

‘I henceforth grant to all priests, in virtue of their ministry, the faculty to absolve those who have committed the sin of procured abortion.
